We’re more than just a bank. We’re a bank built for teachers. Teachers inspire minds and shape futures – they’re the #originalinfluencers. Let’s celebrate every one of you for the great work you do.

We’ve been for teachers since 1966

Teachers Credit Union was established by teachers, for teachers, back in 1966. Our success was born out of a dream and a vision to give better financial options to teachers and their families. Since then, we've grown from 29 members and $644 in deposits into a Mutual Bank with more than 230,000 Members across Australia and more than $10 billion in assets.

Today, our passion is stronger than ever. We’re still supporting teachers, their families, and the education community with superior banking products and member services.

We are a world leading bank that is a force for good where social responsibility drives everything we do – our people, practises and products.

Teachers inspire minds and shape futures. You’re the #originalinfluencers.

We want to celebrate you, the amazing work you do, and the positive influence you have on the people you teach and the communities around you.

We want to recognise and celebrate exceptional teachers from all around Australia on our website and social media. It’s because what you do is worth sharing and celebrating.

We are a Major Partner of News Limited’s Australia’s Best Teacher, an advocacy series highlighting teachers who are making a difference in schools and communities across Australia.
