How can I change my name on my account?

If you need to change your name, you can do so in one of the following ways:

By email: email the completed Name Change Request form along with certified copies of acceptable documentary evidence of change of name to [email protected].

In Person: visit one of our branches and complete the Name Change Request form and provide acceptable documentary evidence of change of name.

By mail: mail the completed Name Change Request form along with certified copies of acceptable documentary evidence of change of name.

Acceptable documentary evidence of name change:

  • Driver Licence or Passport in your new name
  • Marriage Certificate
  • Change of Name Certificate (deed poll)

Your name will be changed on your account as well as any cards or cheque books you may have – you can continue to use your old card and cheque book by signing your previous name until you receive replacements.

Note it is not necessary to change your name on Title Deeds for a mortgage, however if you wish to do this you can organise via a conveyancer or a solicitor.
