Brendan, a 2019 Future Teachers Scholarships recipient from Griffith University, Queensland

Griffith University, QLD

“The Teachers Mutual Bank Future Teachers Scholarship was of great assistance to me in my final year of my Masters of Primary Teaching course. Due to this scholarship, I was able to take leave from my casual job and fully focus my energy into my last practicum.
This ability to completely focus on my final prac, undoubtedly contributed to being offered a full time job at the end of this placement.
Any student who is finding it difficult to juggle work and study, should apply for the next Future Teachers Scholarship.”

Amy, 2019 Future Teachers Scholarship recipient from the University of Canberra, ACT.

University of Canberra, ACT

“The Teachers Mutual Bank Scholarship has made a great contribution in assisting me throughout the year. The scholarship not only assisted me in purchasing textbooks, but provided me some funds that enabled me to participate in professional experience outside of the ACT.
The financial stress often felt throughout the year was alleviated with the assistance of the scholarship. This provided me with greater opportunity to focus on other aspects of my life such as my studies and my health.
I am so thankful for this scholarship and would encourage all future teachers to apply because it has been a huge help to me this year!"
