We are proud to announce the winner of the 2016 Premier’s Teachers Mutual Bank New and Emerging Technologies Scholarship is Kerry Wallace-Massone, Heathcote High School (Metropolitan). Kerry’s project is the New Horizons for Unmanned Technology.
The focus of her study is to use student’s fascination with UAV (commonly known as drones) technology to prepare students for jobs that don’t exist today. UAVs represent an intersection of innovative technology with enormous career potential. She particularly wants to encourage girls into the technology and increase their representation in the STEM/STEAM field.
