Teachers Mutual Bank is proud to announce Bryan Lyndon as the recipient of a Teachers Mutual Bank School Sport Recognition Award.
When you think of Far North Coast Primary School Sport, North Coast Primary Swimming or North Coast CHS Surf Life Saving, Bryan Lyndon, a teacher at Lennox Head Public School is synonymous with all. He is the epitome of a teacher who is dedicated and committed to the organisation and promotion of school sport at all levels.
Bryan has been involved in Ballina District PSSA for over 15 years, serving as secretary and treasurer. He is a member of the North Coast School Sports Council, has been President and Senior Vice President of the North Coast PSSA and President of the Far North Coast PSSA. He has fulfilled these positions with honour and integrity.
Bryan is one of the North Coast PSSA Swimming Managers, a role he has held for many years. A keen Surf Life Saver himself, saw Bryan play an integral role in the inaugural North Coast CHS Surf Life Saving Championships ten years ago. He is still the water and beach competition manager for this annual event.
Bryan has been a presenter at North Coast Sports Conferences, upskilling teachers in the latest rules, regulations and initiatives. He goes beyond his role, mentoring other sports organisers, conveners and managers.
Excellent sportsmanship between competitors is always fostered by Bryan, with nothing but encouraging words given to all participants. He nurtures the best in all. Bryan has great rapport with students, staff and parents. His relentless effort and professionalism has raised the profile of school sport across all sectors.
The North Coast School Sport Association would like to thank Bryan for his commitment to their associations, his passion for school sport and his ongoing support for Public School students on the North Coast.
