We are very proud to again sponsor the WA Education Awards in 2011. 

We’re absolutely thrilled to see Willetton Senior High School take out the award for WA Secondary School of the Year in 2011.

We see the WA Education Awards as a celebration of the excellence and outstanding achievements taking place in our schools every day. We proudly sponsor the awards to demonstrate our passion for education and our ongoing commitment to the education community.

The staff and students at Willetton SHS, one of the largest schools in WA, are highly engaged and focused on excellence. The leadership has a clear vision and direction and plans for continual improvement. The school has repeatedly delivered high performing students, offers a positive learning environment and demonstrates a strong culture.

Practical and small group activities offered in the classrooms at Willetton SHS, such as engineering, building construction, catering and community partnerships, provide life skills and help students become work-ready. These programs have helped set Willetton SHS apart from other secondary schools in WA this year.

It’s great to see that parents and the community, including ex-students are very proud of the school and what the students have achieved.

Financial Literacy projects grants

We offer WA public schools grants of up to $2,500 each for their financial literacy projects each year.

These grants are designed to assist in implementing a financial literacy project which helps students understand how financial awareness impacts on and relates to their everyday life
