Win at a Mobile Office - Terms and Conditions

Duration

The competition commences at 9am on 14th February 2012 and closes at 10pm on 20th December 2012.


Method of entry

Entry is made by putting a coupon into the entry box displayed at each Mobile Office function. Entries are limited to one per person at each function attended.


Eligibility

Those eligible to enter are members of Teachers Mutual Bank and non-members eligible to join under the Constitution of the Mutual Bank aged 18 years of age or over, who attend a Mobile Office function held in NSW between 14th February 2012 and 20th December 2012. All entrants must be 18 years of age or over.

Teachers Mutual Bank Directors, Members Committee members, staff and members of their family (spouse, de-facto, parent, grandparent, child, stepchild, grandchild, brother or sister) are not eligible to enter.


Draw details

One (1) x $100 cash prize will be drawn from a barrel by a Teachers Mutual Bank Business Development Officer or Director at each Mobile Office function and their name announced immediately. The winner does not need to be in attendance to win the prize.

Four (4) x lucky door prizes up to the value of $100 each will be drawn from a barrel by a Teachers Mutual Bank Business Development Officer, Director or a nominee at each Mobile Office function. The winner must be in attendance to win a lucky door prize, otherwise the prize will be redrawn on the night. Winners have 4 minutes to claim their prize before a redraw occurs.

From every entry form submitted in conferences held between 14th February 2012 and 20th December 2012, two (2) x $1,000 travel gift vouchers will be barrel drawn by the Chief Executive or his nominee at 10.30am EST on Friday 21st December 2012 at 28-38 Powell Street, Homebush NSW 2140.


Winner notification

At each Mobile Office function, one (1) x $100 cash prize and four (4) x lucky door prizes up to the value of $100 each will be drawn by a Teachers Mutual Bank Business Development Officer or Director and their names announced immediately.

The winners of the travel gift vouchers will be telephoned and sent advice by mail on the day of the draw. The winners’ names will be published in the public notices section of The Australian Newspaper on 4th January 2013 as well as in February 2013 issue of Chalkboard newsletter.


Prize details

At each Mobile Office function, one (1) x $100 cash prize and four (4) x lucky door prizes up to the value of $100 each will be drawn by a Teachers Mutual Bank Business Development Officer or Director.

The $100 cash prize will be deposited into the winner’s Savings Account at Teachers Mutual Bank in the case that the winner is a member of Teachers Mutual Bank. If the winner is not currently a member, he/she is required to join membership within three (3) months of prize draw to claim the prize.

Two (2) x prizes consisting of $1,000 travel gift voucher is redeemable at Diploma World Travel Service (ABN 63 010 167 503) and valid for a year starting from the date of the gift voucher handover. The gift vouchers may be used to purchase travel to that value or to go towards meeting the cost of any other travel booked with Diploma World Travel Service.

The prize(s) are not transferable and non-redeemable for cash.


Unclaimed prizes

If the $1,000 travel gift vouchers and any $100 cash prizes are unclaimed, they will be redrawn on 21st March 2013 at 10.30am EST at 28-38 Powell Street, Homebush NSW 2140 subject to any direction given under applicable law.

The winners will be telephoned on 21st March 2013 and sent advice by mail. The winners’ names will be published in the public notices section of The Australian Newspaper on 26th March 2013 and in the May 2013 edition of Chalkboard.


Promoter’s details

The promoter is Teachers Mutual Bank Limited, ABN 30 087 650 459 AFSL/Australian Credit Licence No 238981, 28-38 Powell Street, Homebush NSW 2140.
 

Winner’s consent for promotion

Entrants consent to the promoter using their name and photographs in the event they are a winner in any media for an unlimited period of time for the purpose of promoting, publicising or marketing this promotion and promoting any products and services by the promoter.


Indemnity and disclaimer

You agree to release and indemnify Teachers Mutual Bank and its agents and employees from and against, all liability, cost, loss or expense arising out of acceptance of any prize or participation in the competition including (but not limited to) loss of income, personal injury, damage to property and whether direct or consequential, foreseeable, due to some negligent act or omission or otherwise.

Teachers Mutual Bank is not responsible or liable:

  • if for any reason beyond Teachers Mutual Bank’s reasonable control any element of any prize is not provided. Teachers Mutual Bank, in its absolute discretion, may substitute a different prize in place of any prize referred to in these terms and conditions
  • if, for any reason, the competition is suspended, varied or terminated at any time, with or without prior warning or publicity
  • for late, lost or misdirected entries
  • for any change in the value of a prize occurring between the publishing date and the date the prize is claimed.

 
All entries become the property of Teachers Mutual Bank.

Teachers Mutual Bank has the rights to exclude any person from this competition for any reason whatsoever and to amend these terms and conditions at any time or cancel the competition subject to state regulation.
