Members endorse plan for name change to Heritage Bank
Following an overwhelming vote in favour of its name change proposal, Heritage is one step closer to becoming Australia’s largest member-owned bank. It received 96.8% of votes from eligible voting members at the Annual General Meeting in Toowoomba held on 19th October 2011.
Heritage is currently advising the regulator APRA of its successful outcome and awaits formal approval of its application for the name change. If the approval is obtained, Heritage aims to begin operating as Heritage Bank from December 2011. >View the complete press release here
