Teachers Credit Union picks up two people's choice awards

Teachers Credit Union is one of the Top 5 Credit Unions and Top 5 Savings Accounts named today in the first Mozo People’s Choice Awards. Australia’s largest credit union for teachers and their families was particularly highly rated by Mozo voters on customer service and trust. Over 23,000 banking customers throughout Australia participated in Mozo’s 2010 People’s Choice Awards by rating their financial institution over the last 12 months. Teachers Credit Union was rated on six criteria in both categories: overall satisfaction, price, features, customer service, convenience and trust.

“We consider it a significant achievement to be placed in Mozo’s Top 5 Credit Unions and Top 5 Savings Accounts,” said Teachers Credit Union CEO Steve James. “In the Top 5 Credit Union category, we were honoured to have achieved a particularly high score in in what we consider to be key values – customer service and trust. Teachers Credit Union was the only credit union to be named in any of the Mozo People’s Choice product awards – in this case the Top 5 Savings Accounts – for its Online Savings Account. We’re very happy that members feel our product is competitive and meets their needs.”
