Steve James is the Chief Executive of Teachers Mutual Bank. Having worked in a diverse range of management roles at Teachers Mutual Bank over the last thirty years, Steve has played a significant role in its growth and success. He became Chief Executive in 2005. Steve has been an active participant in both the national and global credit union movement, including participating on many national credit union committees, developing his understanding and appreciation of the environment of credit unions and mutual banks. He is committed to ensuring Teachers Mutual Bank maintains its high level of member service, employee satisfaction, and financial performance.

Brad Hedgman joined Teachers Mutual Bank in 1982 and has worked in a diverse range of management positions since that time. While working primarily in the areas of finance, information technology, administration and risk, he has played an integral part in Teachers Mutual Bank's strength and success. In his current role he remains committed to the unique environment of mutual banks and the provision of responsible financial services to our members.
Neil Kenzler

Neil Kenzler joined Teachers Mutual Bank in 2009 as Chief Risk Officer. He has over twenty years experience in accounting, banking and superannuation with a focus on risk management. His vision for Teachers Mutual Bank is to create an on-going culture that assesses risks of activities in a cohesive way, with each activity being centred on the interests of Teachers Mutual Bank as a whole.
Theresa Mason

Theresa Mason joined Teachers Mutual Bank in 1987 and was appointed to the Executive Team in 2004. As Head of Sales and Marketing, Theresa is committed to achieving our Mutual Bank's vision by ensuring our products and services are relevant, competitive and enable our members to achieve their financial goals. Theresa and her teams are responsible for developing marketing and sales strategies, products and services and relationships with suppliers that deliver value for all members and support our brand promise.
Craig McMahon

Craig McMahon joined Teachers Mutual Bank in 1997 as Contact Centre Manager and was appointed to the Executive team in 2005. He has thirty years banking and finance experience, previously holding management positions with both National Australia Bank and Advance Bank. As Head of Operations, Craig is responsible for our branch network, transactional services and credit processing. He is committed to the organisation achieving ‘best practice’ and providing leadership to members and staff in service excellence.
Helen O’Reilly

Helen O’Reilly joined the HR team at Teachers Mutual Bank in 1990 and joined the Executive team in 2004. As the Head of Human Resources Helen has played an integral role in building an organisation that values its employees and provides professional development opportunities that have resulted in low turnover and high employee satisfaction. Her vision is for Teachers Mutual Bank to retain its status as an employer of choice for women and to enrich the lives of all employees by providing opportunities for work/life balance. Helen currently holds the position of joint Vice President of the Institute of Financial Services and is also a member of both the Australian Human Resources Institute and the Australasian Mutuals Institute.
Glenn Sargeant

Glenn Sargeant joined Teachers Mutual Bank in 1989 as a trainee accountant, completing his accounting degree part-time in the evenings. He has since worked in numerous roles in the Finance department, developing the expertise to implement effective strategies to continue our excellent financial performance. He is committed to providing the products, services, resources and advice to empower every member to take control of their finances now and make the most of their resources through planning for the future.
